Andrew is a Chartered Engineer with 25 years' experience and has extensive knowledge in the development of strategic projects across Retail, Commercial, Educational, Healthcare, Hotel, Sport & Leisure and Conservation Sectors.

Andrew utilizes the best design practices available as well as the latest techniques and technologies in SMART Buildings and Decarbonization/Climate Mitigation Strategies. Andrew's level of experience has been fundamental to the development of the use of BIM within J.V Tierney & Co. Andrew's approach to design includes tools that streamline everyday workflows and challenge the way in which projects are reviewed, ensuring cost efficiency and carbon reduction in the building’s design.

Andrew is project lead on a number of high profile projects such as Lidl Regional Distribution Centre in Mullingar, as well as a number of Lidl and Tesco commercial projects nationwide including the new ACEI.

Some of the award-winning projects Andrew has worked on include Lidl Regional Distribution Centre in Newbridge (58,000m2) which houses the current largest PV array installation in Ireland, along with various sites around Dublin for both Bank of Ireland and Accenture.
